The AML Intelligence Network Pty Ltd (ABN 44 696 407 600) operates CompareAML at compareaml.com.au. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our users in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Business contact details (name, email address, phone number, job title, business name)
• Business details relevant to your AML compliance enquiry (industry, number of employees, designated services provided)
• Enquiry or message content submitted through our platform
• Technical data (IP address, browser type, device type, cookies) collected automatically when you use our platform

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to operate our marketplace and connect you with relevant Vendors.

We use your personal information to:

• Create your shortlist and, only if you agree to an introduction, refer your details to the relevant Vendor
• Communicate with you about your enquiry and about CompareAML services
• Improve our platform, content, and matching capability
• Send you general information about AML/CTF regulatory developments (where you have opted in)
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We share your details only with a provider you ask us to introduce you to, named before you agree.

Vendors are third parties and operate independently of CompareAML. Once your information is disclosed to a Vendor, their own privacy policy and data practices apply. We encourage you to review a Vendor's privacy policy before engaging their services.

We may send you information about AML/CTF developments or CompareAML services where you have opted in to receive such communications. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

We do not send unsolicited commercial electronic messages in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

We use Google Ads through our Google tag and Google Tag Manager. Google may receive technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, page visits and advertising interactions for advertising measurement and optimisation, and may process this data overseas. Advertising and analytics consent are denied by default until you choose the matching categories in Cookie preferences. Marketing controls advertising storage, advertising user data and personalisation; Analytics controls analytics storage. With consent denied, Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement signals. We do not send your enquiry contact details for customer matching through this installation.

You can reject non-essential cookies or withdraw permission at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer. We save your choice, time, a visitor reference and the notice version on your device, preserving earlier choices when you withdraw. Google also offers advertising controls at My Ad Center.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Our platform uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure data storage.

CompareAML uses Lovable hosting and Lovable Cloud for the site, database and server functions, with Cloudflare deployment tooling. Google Tag Manager and Google Ads provide advertising measurement, and Google Fonts supplies fonts. Assisted features use the Lovable AI gateway with Google Gemini. Pipedrive is connected for consented introduction records. Resend is used for email delivery where configured.

These services may process information in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. The code does not establish the regions of our individual accounts, so these are likely processing locations, not confirmed storage locations. Google measurement is controlled by your cookie choices as described above. Quiz and matching-form contact details are not sent to Pipedrive, providers or email alerts on submission.

Apollo.io is a US-based business-contact enrichment tool. No Apollo connection or automated enrichment is wired into this website. If Apollo is used separately by our team, its use and the information involved must be confirmed before an overseas disclosure is made.

Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps required by APP 8 to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. Overseas recipients may also be subject to the laws of the country where they operate.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us at hello@compareaml.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the APPs, you can make a complaint to us at hello@compareaml.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
